THE TRANSFORMATION
- Are you finding it difficult to move on after the end of a relationship?
- Do you hold onto old energy?
- Would you like the opportunity to transform this old energy
Letting go of a broken relationship or the despair of the loss of a loved one can be one of the greatest challenges of your life. Partly this is due to the helpless feeling of there simply being nothing you can do to change the situation you have found yourself in. Added to this you can often start to throw blame at the self for what you see as your short comings and inadequacies as far as your ability in preventing the current circumstances are concerned. The self doubt and lack of self worth can take you on a downward spiral where the world feels heavy and joy sits on a distant shore.
The good news is IT’S NOT YOUR FAULT
Today the thought makes me laugh but for years I believed there was something wrong within me that was causing the infidelities in my marriage. In truth I didn’t even come into the equation in any way, shape or form for the extra marital relationships were due to an attraction between two people and that was nothing to do with me. What a revelation that was for me, to think that actually I am OK and hadn’t done anything to bring this situation on for myself.
Accepting this realisation is your tipping point, much like the alcoholic who at his first AA meeting has to stand up and say ‘my name is Joe and I am an alcoholic’.
Simply by verbalising his condition in this way Jo is able to put his thoughts out into the atmosphere to be transformed through the vibration of the words. He has taken responsibility for himself so thus is on the road to recovery and the only way for him now is up. Transforming the old energy is the key to success to a bright new future. It takes some commitment and a lot of hard work but if you can stay focused the changes can start to develop in a very short space of time and the beautiful new butterfly can emerge from her shell.
Understanding energy flows and their direct effect on our lives can help us to identify blockages that are holding back our progress. Why continue day after day, week after week and month after month in a state of mourning over the end of a relationship when there is a bright new world just around the corner? The pain is simply the effort needed by the chrysalis to break through her shell and transform into a beautiful butterfly.
One of the most common areas of the home for holding onto old energy, particularly regarding matters of the heart, is the kitchen which of course we all know as the heart of the home. Loving the self has to be of paramount importance at this time so a fridge stacked with stale and out of date food will not be reflecting this. Put the love back into your life, clean the fridge to a pristine condition and then fill it with delights that make your heart soar when you open the door.
10 tips for breaking through the shell
- clean all sticky areas of the kitchen, especially waste bins, extractor fans and fronts and tops of cupboards
- clean out the filters on the washing machine, dishwasher and vacuum cleaner
- clean the oven to a pristine state
- clean out the contents of the fridge, especially out of date food and love yourself with new food and good nutrition
- clean out the cupboards and discard out of date food
- ensure all appliances are in perfect working order
- make the kitchen a beautiful place to be by giving it some flowers and new life
- give a supper party and sit in the kitchen if possible
- if finances allow buy yourself a new kitchen
- give thanks for the lesson for every cloud has a silver lining and something good will come out of the experience
Do all this and you will be amazed at the amount of dirt and grim you move. Even more amazing you will find aches and pains such as tooth and joint aches will disappear as this pain is no more than stale energy that is holding on through the fear of the unknown. Embrace that fear for the momentum it can bring to a new experience. Just think of yourself sitting by a swimming pool staring into the water. How would it be if you had never dipped your toe into that pool? Life is for Living. Enjoy it.
THE TONIC
It is a natural phenomenon that the tide always returns
70% of this earth is water, indeed 70% of your body is also water, and it is therefore no surprise to learn that you are directly affected by the ebb and flow of the tides.
Keeping your thoughts positive and seeing the best in every circumstance is paramount to a happy outcome to your challenging situation. Each day heralds a new dawn and the opportunity of a new beginning so why not embrace it and give thanks.
Think of yourself as a muscle clinging to a rock in bright sunlight waiting patiently for the tide to return. When the tide does come and the muscle is once again submerged in the beautiful crystal clear waters of the ocean she opens her arms, embraces the moment, and dances again.
For the time being the best policy is to ensure you stay strong. One of the most valuable things you can do to support this is to get a good night’s sleep in order to renew your energy and help you to rise to the challenges of the following day.
- clean the old energy that is holding onto your body through your skin by taking a salt scrub in the shower before retiring
- cleanse your internal energy meridians of any stale residue of the day by taking a warm salt water foot bath for half an hour each evening to get rid of the toxins
- disciplines such as yoga, t’ai chi, qi gung or tapping are invaluable and will ensure a rested mine before sleep
- a gratitude book by your bed to list all of the positives that have come out of your day help you to focus on your way forwards before sleeping
- avoid the consumption of anything that holds down your energy before going to sleep, this includes alcohol, heavy meals, carbohydrates, dairy products and of course chocolate. Remember anything that holds down your energy is primarily responsible for mood swings and depression.
- a glass of warm water is the best thing to drink prior to sleep as it does not place any demands on the digestive system so then the bodily functions can concentrate on their job in hand whilst you sleep and ensure your organs are in tip top working order and therefore presenting you with the optimum health
- On waking embrace the opportunity to rise and to go forth and multiply. You have an important job to do so don’t waste your energy on looking back but use it to look towards the horizon and stay focused on your goals
Step by step, one step at a time, head held high and a smile on your face and you can climb any mountain

I was out walking through the local park with my dog recently marvelling at the wonders of Nature and thinking about energy and the tools we have at our disposal to use in order to sense and see the Chi. I was looking at the habits of the deer and the wildlife in the park and at the changing landscape at the onset of Autumn. I walk this park regularly and yet I never see the same view twice. Nature is ever changing and transforming and the beauty never ceases to thrill me.
As is often the case I was carrying my camera so on seeing a child with a tub of soap suds blowing the largest bubbles I have ever seen I grabbed the opportunity to record the event and my camera was soon busy photographing the action. The picture above is the resulting image. To say I was astounded at the result is an understatement. The landscape that the bubble is reflecting is also mirrored within the simple body of soap solution hence we see a reflection of a reflection.

Suddenly I had a ‘light bulb’ moment. Of course this is how a kwa works when we reverse the energy or when we use another tool such as a parent looking after the children or when we try to comprehend the connection between site and facing energies. The original image is unchanged and the resulting image simple, clear and connected just as this one is. I would also add and an image that is stunningly beautiful. It’s our minds that make the movement of energy within a kwa so much more complicated.
I hope this picture helps you with the concepts of the movement of energy and the advanced principles of Chue Style Feng Shui studies. Understanding Nature is our business so I would encourage you to get out there in this new season with your camera and see what pops up for you too. Nature is full of surprises.
REVERSING THE CHI
It actually takes a lot of energy to be a bad guy so it therefore makes complete sense to harness this energy to your own advantage if at all possible and thus turn an uncomfortable situation on its head.
Consider the planning and organisation that goes into producing a major outdoor event such as a summer musical extravaganza. Picnics are prepared and champagne bars erected and of course considerations are made regarding adverse weather when it comes to electrics for sound equipment on the stage. Over and above all this preparation it is then the wise organiser who also has raincoats and umbrellas ready to sell if the rain comes down for in this eventuality he has used the energy of the bad guy.
Life has its ups and downs, that is a given fact, so when it is good and rolling along in a comfortable fashion you never stop to question your path or your progress along this journey we call life. It is only when the challenging times present themselves that you may be forced to recognise an imbalance that has occurred in your existence and thus forced to consider how you can address it. When you are caught unawares and an unpleasant circumstance pops up like a rabbit from a hat the period of adjustment in your life style can be quite prolonged. However, if you have recognised your enemy well in advance of this situation then you can have a strategy in place and you no longer afford him the opportunity to catch you on the back foot with your guard down.
A close friend was diagnosed with bowel cancer a couple of years ago and most certainly will testify this was to be one of the greatest challenges of her life. Anyone who has been confronted with such a circumstance knows there are two options in this scenario and that is to beat it or to join it. Thankfully she rose to the challenge of the bad guy and addressed the lesson he was endeavouring to present. She completely changed her life style by cutting down on long arduous hours at the office and therefore making more time for herself to indulge in a leisurely massages or a session at the gym. She changed her diet and recognised what exactly she was putting into her body when she ate a meal and she took up disciplines such as Qi Gung and meditation. All of this helped her to cope with the rigours of her hospital visits and to keep her thoughts positive throughout her ordeal. Happily my friend was recently given the all clear from her specialist but the reality is none of her imbalances would ever have been addressed unless the illness had been presented to her in the first place so she is now able to give thanks for the lesson from the bad guy and move on to a healthier lifestyle.
Bad guys can present themselves in many ways and often leave you with a sense of life being in control of you rather than you being in control of life. The opportunity is to rise to the challenge and not see any negativity in the situation but to see it as more of an opportunity to embrace a new lifestyle. Change is often a challenge for most of us as even when our present circumstances are uncomfortable for some reason we continue in the same mode because we know how to handle them and thus they take precedence to the fear that step into the new world of the unknown may present.
It is an age old saying ‘one man’s meat is another man’s poison’ and indeed visa versa. What may be rubbish to you could be the next man’s fortune so if your challenge is around finances why not check out what you have stored away in your attic? The cardboard cartons on this bicycle had been purchased from local store keepers earlier in the day and were to be sold on further along the road for a 50% profit the next day.
(Know the enemy and you are one step ahead of the game)

EARLY HEAVEN SEQUENCE LIVING
At the AGM of The Chue Foundation in Rome 09 I made a presentation of my China Tour photographs and passed a comment about the people of Hunan Province living in an Early Heaven Sequence style. A number of people have asked me to quantify this comment so this is my endeavour in this piece.
This is the quality of Chue Style Feng Shui – we work entirely with Nature, as Nature intended. Early Heaven Sequence is simple and it is balanced so with this we find a peace and a quiet acceptance of our circumstances without greed or desire for something someone else may have. The skill comes in recognising the energy that is available to you and to use it to the best of your ability. A few years ago I had the good fortune to spend New Year’s Ever with Grand Master Chan and a few friends and had planned a celebration meal and an evening together in the warmth of his home. In the early evening there was an electrical power cut to all of the homes in the region so no cooking facility, no lighting and no central heating. Did this spoil our evening – of course not? A generous neighbour bought in a cooking stove which provided light, heating and hot food and a wonderfully happy evening was spent around the kitchen table playing Mah Jong with no television in sight.
Late Heaven Sequence living would not have coped in the same way. Late Heaven Sequence is a consequence of Man’s intervention. It has been created by Man in his infinite wisdom but if you look at the seating of the trigrams in the LHS there is no consistent pattern as there is with the EHS. In EHS all the couple trigrams sit opposite to each other, the Father sits at the head of the table in the South, the Mother supporting him and sitting opposite in the North. The Father figure held respect in the EHS. In LHS the family is scattered. All the female trigrams sit together around the South sector and the male trigrams sit together around the North sector. The Father has lost his status and commands less respect. This is the way of LHS living and the way of the world in general today – a world of utter confusion and a lack of direction and greed and envy that knows no bounds. Today Man is totally reliant on technology so the New Year’s Eve party without the disco and strobe lighting would have been a disaster.
We are currently living in the age of the 8 fate, the
1st son Thunder fate. As we know, Thunder comes quickly and is known to instigate great change. His actions are sudden and strong and there is nothing that can be done against the power of his force. Indeed during this 8 fate we have witnessed many changes not least of which is Man’s greater respect for the environment. We are leaning to recycle and move away from the throw away society of the Late Heaven living. In the current economic climate people are ceasing from chasing material goals and spending more time in their garden producing food for the family thus moving back towards the qualities of the EHS living as Nature intended.
The 9 fate
is fast approaching. When creating a hexagram for 9 fate all lines change and so it is that we can expect even greater changes during this 27 year period. The changes of energy that the 8 fate has created will be continued through the 9 fate and onwards back to the 1st fate
Back to the beginning of the cycle of fates, the slow energy of the 1st fate and the Early Heaven Sequence style of living. I wish you a very pleasant journey working with the most natural tool available to help guide and propel people through these changes – that tool being

The early hours of the morning of the 5th April 09 saw the arrival of the energy of the Dragon month. The Dragon is a magical mystical character who has the ability to turn scrap metal into gold and thus is known for his entrepreneurial skills. He commands huge respect and is held in high esteem by his fellow 12 Animals of the Chinese Zodiac.
It was Sir Winston Churchill who once said ” it is the pessimist who sees obstacles in every opportunity and the optimist who sees opportunities in every obstacle”
The Dragon is the optimist who has a keen eye and has been watching carefully the developement of the energy over the earlier part of the year. It is he who now transforms the true energy of 2009 to help bring about its full potential as the first 3 months of the year were simply responsible for overseeing the handover of power from 2008, the year of the Rat, to 2009, the year of the Ox. At last the energy is pure.
This will translate into our lives by bringing more stability and more clarity to the circumstances around us and indeed more optimism. It cannot be denied that we have been transversing through a very sticky spell, particularly around the financial markets, and so it is the Dragon who will push us back on track and point us in the right direction. There is still a need to air on the side of caution as this new energy is fresh and needs to be allowed time to mature so the going will still feel slower than we would like. It is vital to stay focused and to keep our thoughts positive.
This sudden change of direction, or at least freeing up of a static situation, can translate into any area of your life, not simply your financial status as previously mentioned. Commincation is majorly affected so perhaps something you have been negotiating for quite some period of time will suddenly come through. I have one client with a suspicious breast lump which I feel is due to an energy block in her horoscope. Providing she follows the recommendations I have made to bring about more balance to her chart then I feel it will be this month, the Dragon energy, that will carry this block through for her and bring about a more positive period of health.
Let the Dragon see the opportunities in every obstacle for you this month
with my best wishes
